The role is based in the East of Scotland, supporting our new business win, SGN. You can be based at any of the sites within your cluster (Edinburgh, Dundee, Thornton, or Aberdeen) with regular travel expected between locations.
As the Cluster Manager you will be responsible for controlling and managing multiple controlled and uncontrolled sites including Galasheils, Elgin, Wick, Thurso, and Inverness within your region while ensuring that the operation is managed effectively and efficiently, leading and monitoring productivity to meet KPIs and Health and Safety Standards.
This is a full‑time, permanent position, predominantly working Monday to Friday, 09:00 to 17:00. Flexibility for travel between locations is expected.

We’re looking to offer a salary of up to £50,000.00, and 25 days annual leave (plus bank holidays). What You’ll Do On a Typical Day
* Provide leadership and guidance for the management teams to enable them to meet objectives, encouraging open communication between them to address operational issues effectively and in a timely manner.
* Monitor the depot’s operational activities ensuring that contractual obligations for customers are achieved, generating solutions for continuous improvement in service.
* Collate and report the weekly production figures to support the creation of the weekly internal and customer KPIs pack.
* Liaise with HR in relation to operational/management concerns and any other employee relations issues.
What You Need To Succeed At GXO
* Support and encourage a good team‑working spirit and ensure that the leadership teams work effectively and communicate frequently to achieve the business objectives.
* Ability to work on own initiative while working under pressure in a continually changing and demanding environment.
* Experience of managing a store and distribution environment or similar background preferable, but not essential.
