The Role: Reporting to the Head of Financial Management you’ll lead a team to provide all financial management for the growth, environment and transport directorate, including all financial reporting, budgeting, and strategic financial planning. You will be tasked with: • Developing excellent working relationships across the GET directorate and establishing yourself as the strategic finance business partner with the Executive Director. • Supporting and monitoring the 2024/25 budget, and working to develop the 2025/26 budget. • Supporting the directorate and ensuring awareness of budget developments and proposals. Candidates: This role calls for a qualified accountant (CCAB or equivalent), or someone with substantial experience in a senior finance role. The ability to develop and maintain excellent working relationships will be required for success.
