Job Overview
We are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Finance Assistant to join our dynamic team. This is an entry level position, but the candidate would be playing an active role within the business after a short induction, gradually developing their skills and broadening their ability to contribute to the team and the business.
The successful candidate will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our finance department by providing comprehensive administrative support and assisting in the processing of commissions (proc fees). This position requires a proactive individual who can manage various tasks efficiently while maintaining a high level of professionalism and customer service.
We are currently looking for someone who can work 9am to 5:30pm for 3 or 4 days a week. The pay listed is based on full time earnings, so will be pro-rata.

Duties
· Creation, distribution, chasing, reconciling and maintaining records for all departments invoices.
· Book hotel rooms and transport for staff when required.
· Processing of procuration fees including Express Payments, proc fee issues, broker and lender enquiries.
· Post and printing. Ensuring all post is sent daily including what needs to be taken to the post office. Supporting remote staff in the printing of documents that need to be sent by post.
· General office support. This is to include the tidiness of the office, stocks of supplies, door answering and meeting and greeting.
· Updating of staff availability.
· Answering the phone for Finance and the overflow for other departments.
· Supporting other areas of the business in a variety of tasks as and when needed.
· Monitoring group email as well as own inbox and ensuring responses made within Company service standards.

Additional Skills

· Previous experience in Finance processing systems (Accounting software, bespoke commission processing system, proc fee systems)
· Experience within a mortgage, financial services or brokerage environment is an advantage
· Experience using WordPress
· Previous office support experience
