Internal Communications Manager Location: London (Hybrid – 3 days per week in office) A leading professional services organisation is seeking a highly experienced Internal Communicator to join their team. This is a strategic and hands-on role, ideal for an internal communications professional with a proven track record of working closely with senior leadership and delivering impactful internal engagement initiatives. The successful candidate will be responsible for shaping and executing the internal communications strategy, crafting compelling content, and driving leadership engagement across the business. This role requires someone who can operate autonomously, manage complex change, and deliver high-quality communications in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities Strategy & Planning Develop and implement the annual internal communications strategy aligned with business goals. Define core messaging, campaigns, and engagement plans to support strategic priorities. Leadership Engagement Lead communications for senior leaders, including planning and delivering leadership calls and partner updates. Collaborate with executive offices to set agendas, prepare briefing materials, and manage post-event communications. Events Design and deliver internal events, including live broadcasts and leadership forums. Manage logistics, prepare speakers, and ensure effective follow-up communications. Content & Messaging Create high-quality written content for strategic initiatives and leadership communications. Develop engaging narratives that connect employees with organisational strategy and values. Advisory & Influence Serve as a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders on internal communications best practice. Influence and guide leadership on effective employee engagement approaches. Measurement & Insight Monitor and report on the effectiveness of internal communications campaigns. Use data and feedback to continuously improve communication strategies. Candidate Profile Essential Experience & Skills Extensive experience in internal communications at a senior level (this is not a step-up role). Demonstrated success working directly with senior leaders and influencing at C-Suite level. Exceptional writing and storytelling skills. Strong strategic thinking with the ability to execute tactically. Comfortable navigating ambiguity and managing complex change. Confident, credible, and able to command gravitas in senior forums. Capable of working independently with minimal direction. Desirable Attributes Experience leading internal communications teams or major projects. Background in professional services or similarly complex organisations.
