Salary: up to £37.83 per hour (depending on qualifications, skills and experience)
Working pattern: Casual hours – around 2 days per week (fixed term until approximately June 2027)

We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated hourly paid Lecturer in Maths to join our team at Andover College! This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about teaching maths and who wants to make a difference to learners' confidence, progress and achievement.
What we're looking for
We are looking for a motivated, student‑centred leader who is passionate about Maths education and committed to helping learners achieve their full potential. The post holder will have an enthusiasm and passion for teaching GCSE/Functional Skills maths classes at our Andover campus. The candidate will be IT literate and have a recognised teaching qualification, or willingness to attain one for which support will be given. We encourage and accept applications from graduates.
It is desirable, but not essential, that the post holder has a specialist qualification at level 4 or above in Maths.
Key qualifications and skills
* A minimum of a grade 4/C in English and maths at GCSE level (or equivalent)
* A genuine passion for teaching, mentoring, and inspiring students
* Strong communication and organisational skills
* Experience in working with young people or learners in an educational setting (desirable)
