A well-established infrastructure contractor is seeking a Site Agent to take the lead on key rail and civil engineering projects across Scotland's rail network. Based from their office in Lanarkshire, this role offers the chance to oversee a variety of high-profile, safety-critical works across a broad framework of rail and infrastructure improvements.The OpportunityThis organisation is a recognised name in the delivery of rail, civils, and vegetation management projects across the UK. With a strong pipeline of secured work across maintenance and renewals frameworks, they are now looking for an experienced Site Agent to help deliver projects safely, on time, and to high standards.Key Responsibilities: Manage day-to-day site operations, ensuring work is delivered safely and efficiently Oversee site teams, subcontractors, and engineers across multiple project disciplines Deliver works in line with programme, quality standards, and budget Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental requirements Provide regular reporting and updates to project and commercial teams Liaise with clients, stakeholders, and third parties as neededIdeal Candidate Profile: Experienced Site Agent or Sub Agent ready to step up Background in rail infrastructure or civil engineering projects Proven track record of managing operational teams and subcontractors Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills PTS and SMSTS qualifications (or willingness to obtain) Full UK driving licenceWhat's in It for You: Competitive salary package (negotiable DOE) Company vehicle or car allowance Ongoing training & career development Stable, long-term pipeline of rail and civils projectsFor information or to apply please contact Jamie Nicholson using the details provided, alternatively please click the "apply now" link.
