:
1. Drive segment-specific product sales and support supplier partnerships

2. Promote essential products and additional services to customers in academic research, government laboratories and healthcare

3. Build and maintain an effective network of connections within the Thermo Fisher Scientific organization

4. Communicate the totally unique benefits of Thermo Fisher to specific segments of our audience.

5. Achieve or exceed sales and margin targets for your territory

6. Develop and implement a comprehensive sales plan to achieve revenue and margin goals

7. Foster and maintain strong customer relationships to ensure continued market penetration and profitability

8. Optimize selling time and enhance communication and influencing skills by effectively employing internal resources.

9. Provide customers with information on supply and price trends, and assist in inventory control

10. Manage pricing within your territory to optimize profitability

11. Work closely with other sales team members to implement account strategies in key accounts.

12. Understand and meet customer needs to enhance business opportunities

13. Provide timely feedback on customers, competitor activity, and promotions

14. Meet deadlines for personal administration tasks, such as updating the sales force automation system and submitting expense reports.

15. Establish relationships with key suppliers and negotiate improved terms to increase profitability

16. Review, maintain, and manage compliance to key performance indicators

17. Stay informed about competitor activity and maintain a high level of business knowledge relevant to the region

Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:

18. Demonstrable sales experience or significant laboratory experience in the research laboratory industry

19. Bachelor’s degree in the sciences or equivalent work experience

20. Strong interpersonal, oral and written communication, and presentation skills

21. Proficiency in MS Office, web, and sales force software

22. Excellent organisational and time management skills

23. Full driver’s license and willingness to travel (up to 80% of the time)

24. Proficient in written and spoken English

25. Confident personality with effective engagement skills

26. Ability to collaborate efficiently in a diverse work setting with various individuals involved

27. Adherence to company policies and values

28. Professional and effective interpersonal skills when interacting with customers and stakeholders
