Your Responsibilities
* Patient Care & Service: Assist residents with daily activities as per their individualized care plans, transport them to activities, and provide emotional support to both residents and their families.
* Safety: Help maintain a clean and safe environment for all residents.
* Communication & Documentation: Support families by directing them to the appropriate staff, respond promptly to resident requests, and communicate effectively with team members.
What We're Looking For
Required Qualifications:
* Currently certified as a Certified Nursing Assistant in New York State.
Preferred Qualifications:
* High School Diploma or equivalent.
* Strong customer service and communication skills.
Education & Certifications
License: Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) - New York State Education Department (NYSED)
Physical Requirements
This role involves medium work, requiring the ability to exert 20 to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 10 to 25 pounds of force frequently. You will also need to engage in frequent walking, standing, or squatting.
Compensation
Pay Range: $19.40 - $20.60
The listed base pay range is a good faith representation of current potential base pay for a successful full-time applicant. It may be modified in the future and is eligible for additional pay components. Pay is determined by factors including experience, relevant qualifications, specialty, internal equity, location, and contracts.
