Estimator – Architectural Steelwork

About the Role
A great opportunity has arisen for an Estimator with architectural steelwork experience to join a growing steel fabrication business. You’ll prepare accurate quotes for a range of steelwork packages including staircases, balustrades, handrails, balconies, and bespoke metalwork.
Working closely with commercial, design, and project teams, you’ll play an important role in securing new contracts and supporting the continued growth of the company.
Key Responsibilities
* Produce accurate estimates for architectural and secondary steelwork projects.
* Review drawings, specifications, and tender documents.
* Liaise with suppliers and clients to gather pricing and clarify requirements.
* Complete material take-offs, labour assessments, and tender returns.
* Support handovers and assist with technical queries when required.
Skills & Experience Required
* Estimating experience within architectural or structural steelwork is essential.
* Ability to read engineering/architectural drawings.
* Strong numerical skills and attention to detail.
* Confident communicator with good organisation skills.
* Proficient with CAD-based tools and Microsoft Office.
