About the Role
As a Qualified PE Teacher, you will:
* Plan and deliver engaging, high-quality PE lessons across KS3 and KS4.
* Create inclusive and stimulating schemes of work that inspire students of all abilities to participate and achieve.
* Foster a positive environment that encourages enjoyment, teamwork, and physical wellbeing.
* Contribute to a thriving extracurricular sports programme, including clubs, teams, and inter-school competitions.
* Assess, track, and report on student progress in line with school policies.
* Support the school ethos by promoting resilience, respect, and ambition through sport.
* Collaborate with colleagues on departmental initiatives and professional development.
Contract: Full-time
Start Date: January 2026 (or earlier for the right candidate)
About You
We’re looking for a teacher who is:
* Qualified with QTS (or equivalent).
* Educated to degree level in Physical Education or a closely related subject.
* Experienced in teaching PE at KS3 and KS4 (KS5 experience desirable).
* A confident classroom practitioner with strong behaviour management skills.
* A great communicator who can inspire and motivate young people.
* Passionate about promoting health, fitness, and lifelong participation in sport.
