Production Technician

WIKA Instruments in Sevenoaks provide pressure, temperature, level, flow, force and related calibration instruments. Our facility includes an engineering services department with repair, modification and calibration capability as well as incorporating the TC Fluid Control, level manufacturing capability and our ATEX approved electrical temperature manufacturing line. We are now looking for an accounts payable to join our team.
Your activities
Manufacture and assemble Electrical Temperature products in line with production orders, delivery dates and work instructions
Assist with repairs and refurbishment of customer returns, producing reports where required
Calibrate and certify products across the WIKA ETM range to specified accuracy
Maintain full material traceability and product quality throughout the manufacturing process
Identify and report component shortages or defective stock to the Production Team Leader
Ensure all products released for dispatch are defect-free, clean, and match order requirements
Maintain clean, tidy and well-organised work areas
Work efficiently to support on-time delivery performance
Actively contribute to 5S and continuous improvement activities
Support other departments when required
Your profile
A practical, hands-on approach with good attention to detail
Ability to follow work instructions and quality procedures accurately
Strong awareness of quality, traceability and cleanliness in a production environment
Good communication skills and a team-focused mindset
Flexible attitude and willingness to support different tasks as workloads change
Previous experience in manufacturing, assembly, calibration or electro-mechanical products
Experience working to quality standards in a regulated or technical environment
Awareness of 5S or lean manufacturing principles
