Are you an experienced Estimator with a background in structural steel? We're looking for a driven professional to join our team in Preston.
As a key part of our commercial department, you’ll be responsible for preparing accurate and competitive estimates for a wide range of structural steel projects. This is an excellent opportunity to work on high-profile builds with a supportive and growing company.
🔧 What You’ll Do:
* Prepare detailed estimates and tenders for structural steel projects
* Review drawings and specifications to assess material, labour, and time requirements
* Liaise with clients, engineers, and internal teams to clarify project scope and requirements
* Track project costs and maintain accurate documentation
✅ What We’re Looking For:
* Proven experience as an Estimator in the structural steel or construction industry
* Strong knowledge of steel fabrication and erection processes
* Excellent attention to detail and commercial awareness
* Confident using estimating software and Microsoft Office
