As part of our continued growth strategy, we are seeking an ambitious and results-driven Business Development Manager to join our team.
The Role
The Business Development Manager will play a key role in driving new business opportunities, strengthening client relationships, and supporting the company's strategic growth objectives. You will identify, develop, and secure new projects while enhancing our presence across target markets.
Key Responsibilities
* Identify and develop new business opportunities within commercial, industrial, and residential construction sectors
* Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants, architects, and key stakeholders
* Manage the full business development cycle from lead generation through to contract award
* Prepare and deliver compelling presentations, proposals, and tender submissions
* Conduct market research to identify trends, competitors, and growth opportunities
* Attend networking events, industry exhibitions, and client meetings
* Collaborate with estimating, pre-construction, and delivery teams to ensure seamless handover of secured projects
* Contribute to strategic planning and revenue forecasting
About You
* Proven experience in business development within the construction or property development sector
* Strong understanding of the UK construction market and procurement processes
* Demonstrable track record of winning new business and achieving revenue targets
* Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
* Commercially astute with strong presentation skills
* Self-motivated, proactive, and results-oriented
* Full UK driving licence
