Experienced Motor Vehicle Technician Needed
1. Salary: £29,000 - £35,000 OTE
2. Working Hours: Monday - Friday 8:30am - 5:15pm + 1 in 3 Saturdays 8:30am - 12:30pm
We are recruiting for an experienced Technician to join a well-established, family-run group that has been successfully trading for over 40 years. As part of the aftersales team, you will be responsible for the repair and servicing of vehicles, diagnosing faults, and ensuring that all work is completed to the highest standards, ensuring customer satisfaction and vehicle safety.
Key Responsibilities for a Vehicle Technician:
3. Carry out vehicle health checks and identify areas of concern
4. Perform technical repairs and ensure compliance with manufacturer standards
5. Carry out preparations for new vehicles
6. Use correct tools, materials, and equipment for repairs
7. Report any additional faults to the Service Manager/Workshop Controller
8. Record all work details, including hours worked and material usage
9. Ensure vehicles are protected and clean during service and repair
10. Ensure all work complies with safety standards and is completed within agreed deadlines
What We’re Looking For in a Vehicle Technician:
11. Level 2 (minimum) Qualified Technician with experience in vehicle servicing and repair
12. Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
13. Ability to work to tight deadlines and maintain high standards
14. Excellent communication skills with team members and customers
