Project Site Supervisor – Construction / Healthcare Projects

We’re working with a major UK engineering and facilities services provider that delivers construction, refurbishment and infrastructure upgrades across healthcare, public sector and commercial estates. Their teams operate within live environments, ensuring projects are delivered safely while maintaining critical building operations.
They are now looking for a Project Site Supervisor to support capital and lifecycle works within a live hospital environment.
The Role
You will oversee day-to-day site activity, coordinating contractors and ensuring works are delivered safely, compliantly and with minimal disruption to clinical services.
Key Responsibilities

Plan and coordinate daily project activities, labour and materials
*
Supervise subcontractors and specialist contractors on site
*
Manage Permit to Work processes and contractor inductions
*
Review and approve RAMS, risk assessments and documentation
*
Ensure compliance with CDM regulations, HTM/HBN standards and infection control procedures
*
Monitor programme progress and escalate risks or delays
*
Maintain site records including diaries, permits and inspection logs
*
Liaise with client representatives, clinical staff and project stakeholders
*
Carry out site inspections, safety audits and quality checks
*
Support out-of-hours works where required
Requirements
*
Experience in site supervision or site management within construction, engineering or FM
*
Previously worked in a live hospital environment
*
Experience working in live or highly regulated environments (healthcare desirable)
*
Strong understanding of health & safety legislation and safe systems of work
*
Experience managing permits and reviewing contractor RAMS
*
Good organisational and communication skills
*
SMSTS or SSSTS
*
First Aid (or willingness to obtain)

Occasional evenings, nights or weekend working may be required
