Pay Rate: £31,650 - £49,084 per annum
We're seeking a dedicated and skilled Maths Teacher to join a supportive setting in Accrington. This role is ideal for a strong classroom practitioner who is confident in managing challenging behaviour and committed to helping every student succeed, no matter their starting point.
About the Role:
You’ll be delivering Maths lessons to a variety of students aged 11-16, often requiring tailored approaches to engagement and support. This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a close-knit, specialist team that values relationship-building, consistency, and student-centred learning.
Key Responsibilities:
* Teach Maths across Key Stages 3 and 4 in small, focused groups.
* Adapt lessons to support varying needs and abilities.
* Implement clear behaviour strategies and maintain a calm, structured classroom.
* Build positive relationships with pupils to encourage trust and progress.
* Work closely with a multidisciplinary team to ensure holistic support for each learner.
About You:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
* Post-Graduate Certificate of Education (PGCE).
* Proven experience teaching Maths at GCSE level or above.
* Strong classroom and behaviour management skills.
* Calm, resilient, and proactive.
* A genuine passion for helping learners engage with education.
