Our very busy client in Jedburgh are looking for an experienced Administrator with a background in Logistics.
The Role
Provide administrative support in the logistics yard at the Jedburgh site, ensuring effective communication between Logistics, Yard, Sales, and Transport Providers. Training provided; willingness to learn and collaborate is essential.
Key Responsibilities
1. Coordinate deliveries and shipments
2. Liaise with transport providers and track shipments
3. Prepare shipping documents and ensure compliance with customs regulations
4. Maintain stock levels in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Sage)
5. Support dispatch and delivery planning
6. Communicate with internal teams and customers
7. Monitor logistics KPIs and maintain audit-ready records
Safety & Compliance
8. Follow and promote Health, Safety, and Environmental policies
9. Use PPE and report any safety concerns or incidents
10. Support company safety and wellbeing culture
Quality & Environment
11. Meet quality standards (ISO 9001) and report issues promptly
12. Follow environmental procedures (ISO 14001), reduce waste, and report risks
Management Standards
13. Adhere to IMS policies and procedures
14. Attend training and stay updated
15. Report non-conformances and suggest improvements
