We are looking for a Warehouse Team Leader to join us at our Wigston site in Leicestershire to work full time Monday to Friday predominately day shifts with night shift cover as needed.
Main responsibilities:
* Challenge and report any breach of Health and Safety within the facility
* Receipt, storage and rotation of raw materials and integration safely into the warehouse.
* Ensure all relevant paperwork is completed accurately and in a timely manner, is stored away and easily accessible.
* Ensure the quality team is made aware of any allergens being delivered onto site and all relevant paperwork is signed off and stored correctly.
* Making sure all finished products awaiting dispatch have been picked correctly and accurately against the customer's orders and stacked correctly and safely.
* All relevant pallet documentation is to be prepared and pallets to be labelled correctly.
* Advisory Supply Note (ASNs) that are load specific are to be sent to the customer.
* All customer discrepancies are to be checked using OSCAR
* Ensure all pick notes are produced for the oncoming shifts and any deviations from the orders are to be highlighted to the line manager.
* All outgoing CHEP transactions are recorded and updated through the CHEP portal on a daily basis.
* Monitor driving standards within the site to ensure operatives are not putting themselves or anyone else in danger.
* Create an inspiring team environment with an open communication culture
* Monitor agreed KPIs
Required skills and competencies:
* A good understanding of Warehouse Operations
* Experience working with Warehouse Management System
* PC literate
* A good team player and strong leadership skills
* Ability to delegate
* Skills in conflict management
* Good level of numeracy
* Effectively communicate in English (both verbally and in writing)
* Counterbalance licence desirable but not essential
