PLEASE NOTE: This is a Central London focused role requiring regular engagement with the Architecture & Design community, dealer partners and commercial project stakeholders across the capital


Job Description

You will operate at the heart of the design ecosystem, working closely with architects, interior designers, dealers and design and build partners to influence product selection and convert opportunities into revenue.

This is not an account management role. It is a commercial specification role centred on influence, presence and strategic business development.


The Role

This is a specialist role focused on driving specification, strengthening brand presence and converting commercial opportunities across Central London.

You will be responsible for developing long term relationships across the A&D community, dealer network, Design and Build, Fit‑Out, Commercial End Users and other relevant project stakeholders, positioning the business as a trusted and preferred partner.

The role is predominantly field based, supported by access to an exceptional Central London showroom environment, where client engagement, product presentations and networking activities play a central role.

You will take ownership of your territory, pipeline and commercial performance, operating with autonomy while supported by an experienced and collaborative local and global team.


Responsibilities

* Raise and strengthen brand presence across the London Architecture & Design community
* Drive specification and conversion across workplace, commercial and relevant hospitality projects
* Build, develop and maintain relationships with architects, interior designers, dealers, design and build firms and key commercial stakeholders across the commercial spectrum
* Position the business as a trusted design partner, influencing product selection from concept stage through to order
* Identifying, tracking and converting specification led opportunities across the territory
* Develop and execute strategic plans to grow market share and commercial performance
* Deliver CPDs, product presentations, showroom meetings and design consultations
* Act as a strong, visible brand ambassador at industry events, launches and networking activities
* Maintain accurate pipeline reporting, forecasting and activity tracking via Salesforce CRM
* Collaborate closely with internal colleagues to ensure alignment, specification protection and successful project delivery


Knowledge, Skills and Experience Required

To be considered, candidates must be based within a reasonable commute of Central London and be comfortable working remotely as well as from the stunning Clerkenwell showroom.

Essential experience and attributes include:

* Proven track record in specification or commercial sales within office furniture, fabrics or other closely related interior product sectors
* Possess a strong and leverageable network and relationships across architects, interior designers, dealers and design and build firms within London
* Experience promoting premium design led products into specification driven environments
* Demonstrated ability to develop pipeline and convert opportunities into commercial success
* Strong commercial awareness and business development mindset
* Excellent communication, presentation and relationship building skills
* Ability to operate autonomously while contributing to a collaborative team environment
* Passion for design and appreciation for premium, design led products
* High levels of professionalism, integrity and commercial maturity


The Person

This role will suit someone who enjoys influence, autonomy and visibility within the design community.

You are comfortable operating within architect studios, design agencies, showrooms and client environments, and equally confident presenting to stakeholders as you are building pipeline and securing commercial outcomes.

You are commercially driven, relationship focused and motivated to grow market share and personal reputation within the sector.
