Salary: Up to £70,000 + £500/month car allowance + benefits
A growing engineering business within the industrial decarbonisation and energy transition space is looking to appoint a Process Heat Sales Engineer to support the expansion of its low-carbon heat solutions across the UK.
This is a newly created role focused on helping industrial customers decarbonise high-temperature process heat, working closely with engineering teams to deliver technically robust and commercially viable solutions.
The Role
You will work at the interface between engineering and commercial sales, identifying opportunities within industrial sectors where low-carbon heat technologies can replace traditional fossil-fuel systems.
* Developing new business opportunities across industrial manufacturing sectors
* Engaging with engineering, operations and sustainability teams within client organisations
* Supporting the sales process from initial technical consultation through to proposal and contract stage
* Working closely with internal engineering teams to develop tailored process heat solutions
* Building relationships with consultants, EPCs and industrial end users
* Managing projects through the commercial pipeline
Qualifications
This role would suit someone with a strong engineering background combined with commercial exposure.
Typical profiles could include:
* Process Engineer / Applications Engineer looking to move into sales
* Technical Sales Engineer within industrial heating, boilers, burners, heat pumps or thermal systems
* Engineers with exposure to energy efficiency, heat recovery, CHP, steam systems or industrial decarbonisation
Ideal experience:
* Degree or equivalent in Mechanical, Chemical or Process Engineering
* Experience with industrial thermal systems / process heat
* Commercial awareness or sales experience
* Ability to engage with both technical and commercial stakeholders

* Salary up to £70,000
* £500 per month car allowance
