We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Practice Nurse to join our healthcare team, working 16 hours per week, alongside our Practice Nurse Prescriber.
The ideal candidate will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care, assisting with various clinical tasks, and ensuring the smooth operation of the practice. This position requires a commitment to delivering exceptional care to patients in a supportive environment.
Responsibilities
1. Deliver patient care by performing clinical assessments and procedures as required including cervical cytology.
2. Assist in the management of chronic diseases and promote preventative health measures.
3. Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in compliance with regulatory standards.
4. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualised care plans.
5. Educate patients on health management, medication usage, and lifestyle changes.
6. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations within the practice setting.
7. Participate in continuous professional development to enhance skills and knowledge.
Experience
8. Proven experience in a nursing role, preferably within a primary care or community setting.
9. Strong knowledge of women's health and chronic diseases, with the ability to apply this knowledge in clinical practice.
10. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with an emphasis on patient interaction.
11. Ability to work effectively within a team while also demonstrating independence when required.
12. A commitment to providing high-quality patient care with empathy and professionalism.
