GSL Education are seeking a committed Behaviour Support Assistant to join a school in the Nottingham area from September 2025. This role provides the opportunity to work closely with pupils who require additional behavioural and emotional support, helping them develop positive attitudes, self-regulation, and essential social skills. As a Behaviour Support Assistant, you will: Support pupils with social, emotional, and behavioural needs, helping them access learning and participate in school life. Implement strategies to encourage positive behaviour, confidence, and engagement. Work closely with teachers, SENCOs, and parents to monitor progress and adapt support. Contribute to creating a safe, supportive, and inclusive learning environment. Maintain accurate records and provide feedback on pupil progress. Requirements for Behaviour Support Assistant: Previous experience working with children with behavioural or emotional needs is desirable. A patient, empathetic, and adaptable approach. Strong communication and collaboration skills. An enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
