About the Role
As a Cover Supervisor, you will:
1. Lead classes of 25–30 pupils in the absence of the class teacher
2. Deliver pre-planned lessons across a variety of secondary subjects
3. Maintain classroom behaviour and create a positive learning environment
4. Take accurate registers and follow school policies
5. Provide feedback to teaching staff at the end of lessons
You do not need to be a subject specialist. All lesson plans and materials are provided, allowing you to focus on engagement, classroom management, and supporting student learning.
For those new to education, Vision for Education provides a Cover Supervisor Training Programme, designed to boost confidence, teach classroom management skills, and explain safeguarding and school procedures.

Requirements
To be considered for this role, you will need:
