IM&T Senior Infrastructure Analyst
AfC band 6 (£41,608–£50,702) plus a High Secure Environmental Allowance of £1,750.47 per annum

The eHealth department at the State Hospital is seeking a Senior Infrastructure Analyst to join the existing Infrastructure Team. To contribute to the implementation of the Hospital’s eHealth/Information Management strategy. To provide IT support and assistance to staff at all levels within the hospital by providing hardware and software support and advice. Meeting agreed Service Levels and delivering an effective and efficient end‑user support interface for IT equipment/systems used. Provide the hospital with an acceptable customer‑based second‐ and third‑line support service through the IM&T department help desk for IT hardware, software faults, enquiries, general help and advice. Provide out of hours support on a rotational basis.
Qualifications
* Degree or equivalent in a computer‑related discipline.
* Experience of working in the NHS is highly desirable.
* Valid UK driving licence – essential.
Experience
Experience of a variety of Microsoft Windows operating systems, applications and computer hardware is essential, as is familiarity with LAN networking and protocols such as TCP/IP.

* Server hardware upgrades and maintenance.
* Windows operating systems installation, maintenance and upgrades.
* PC hardware upgrades and maintenance.
* Server operating systems installation, maintenance and upgrades.
* Network infrastructure maintenance.
* Working in an IT support function.
* Specific Microsoft core systems, e.g. Azure, Office Suite, SQL Server, etc.
* VMware.
* Veeam.
* Cisco.
* Dell.
