Job Overview
We are offering a clinical pharmacist post to deliver pharmaceutical care as part of a multi-professional team to optimise quality, evidence-based, and cost-effective use of medicines.
The post involves providing aspects of the clinical pharmacy service within the community hospital, including chemotherapy, medical patients, and a specialist medical health unit. We are keen to hear from individuals interested in part-time or full-time work.
This position is based in Lochgilphead and is not suitable for routine remote working.
Candidate Profile
* Enthusiastic and proactive individuals
* Relevant experience in pharmacy practice
* Excellent communication, interpersonal, and IT skills
* Join an established pharmacy team responsible for medicines management and clinical pharmacy across various settings including GP practices, community hospitals, and mental health units
* The rural setting offers variety and opportunities to develop new skills
Minimum Qualifications
* Masters degree in Pharmacy or equivalent
* Practising registration with the General Pharmaceutical Council
* Relevant postgraduate qualification in clinical pharmacy or equivalent experience
* Ideally, you will be an independent prescriber or willing to undertake this training
* Full, current driving licence and own car for travel to multiple locations
