Senior Care Assistants will be required to: Attend handover at the beginning and end of each shift to ensure all our residents can be supported fully and to allocate responsibilities to Care Teams
Oversee the running of the shift to ensure residents needs are met and staff are supported
Assist residents who need help with dressing, undressing, bathing and continence support
Assist as required those with mobility issues, physical disabilities and help in the use of care aids and equipment
Assist with meals and snacks as required, ensuring individual dietary requirements are followed.
Carryout competency assessments, induction and in-house training of staff
Complete audits and over H&S, Medication and IPC protocols
To record and document adequate records of client care and support on our digital care planning software.
Ensure care plans & risks assessments are reviewed and updated according to residents changes in need.
Maintain high levels of communication, attend regular meetings and supervisions
All About Care are looking for individuals with Senior care experience, preferably in mental health and who have gained a minimum of Level 3 H&SC Diplomas. Candidates who have residential experience are enthusiastic, can work well in a team and follow instruction will be beneficial.
