Marketing & Business Development Manager

Our client, a leading global accountancy organisation is seeking a highly motivated and proactive Marketing & Business Development Manager to join their National Business Development and Marketing team. This role is pivotal in driving local business development activity across the North West, developing client interaction and supporting growth through relationship management, bid support, and event coordination.
You will ensure that growth initiatives remain on strategy and maintain momentum and will work closely with the Office Managing Partner, local BD & Marketing leads, sector heads, and the wider teams.
Key Responsibilities
* Drive local business development aligned with firmwide strategy
* Benchmark market position and identify sponsorship opportunities
* Build and maintain strong relationships with local businesses and intermediaries
* Manage local events and support national marketing initiatives
* Lead client care and account planning
* Work with the wider Bids team to support end-to-end bid processes, including document creation and debriefs
* Maintain marketing lists and CRM data integrity
Key Skills
* Professional services BD experience, ideally within accountancy
* Strong bid-writing and client engagement skills
* Excellent project management and organisational abilities
* Ability to communicate confidently at all levels and build strong relationships
* Proactive, adaptable, and a collaborative team player
* Proficiency in Microsoft Suite (essential) and CRM systems (preferred)
* A strong local network with intermediaries (preferred)
