Our children and young peoplelive within solo or dual occupancy Ofsted registered childrenshomes we believe this model can bring some of the best outcomes forchildren. All our homes are modern spacious and luxurious insidewith private bathrooms. We also have a head office at ProcktersFarm in Taunton where there are large training and meeting roomsfor facetoface training and staff engagement events. We love acompany BBQ team event or Christmasparty.

About theRole
Average annualsalary:.22.
Shift Pattern: 2 dayson 4 days off. Working 16 hours per day with a sleep in across bothdays.
Annual Leaveentitlement: 5.6 weeks annual leave.

Duties andResponsibilities:
Totake responsibility in ensuring the provision of a high quality oftherapeutic care to children and youngpeople.
To ensure appropriatestandards of practice are maintained that are consistent withprinciples
To exercise the management ofsupport to young people individually and within a group by thedevelopment and use of positiverelationships.
To maintain all records andadministration.
To identify and support thereligious ethnic gender and cultural needs of a young person and tocontribute to meeting them by exploring facilities in the area andassisting the young person in makingcontact.
To contribute to the implementationmonitoring and reporting on individual care plans for young peoplewho are looked after.
To attend all staff/Internalmeetings and contribute to staff teambuilding
To take responsibility for developing asafe environment for yourself and our children and youngpeople
To contribute to thedevelopment and implementation of risk assessments asappropriate.
To communicate openly andregularly with the manager providing verbal and written reports asrequired including in relation to the welfare of ServiceUsers.
To provide informal guidanceto new home staff with the agreement and support of your linemanager.
To undertake any other dutiesdeemed appropriate and within the remit of the post this mayinclude working at different homes in line with the needs of thebusiness.

Requirements
This role issubject to the successful applicant having an enhanced DBS checkfor child and adult workforce with barred list checks.
