Personal Assistants Wanted – Flexible Hours (Self‑employed)

I am a 21‑year‑old woman living with long Covid and a range of complex health needs. I am looking to build a small team of self‑employed Personal Assistants to share 24 hours of support per week. Hours and days are fully flexible, and roles can be adapted to suit the right people.

* Employment status: Self‑employed
* Hours per week: 24 hours to be shared by a team of PA’s. Hours and days to be discussed at interview
* Hourly pay rate: £19 per hour
* Drivers licence required: Yes
* Own vehicle needed: Yes
* Right to work in the UK required. Enhanced Disclosure & Barring Service check may be required.
Duties
* Medication prompting / administering
* Personal grooming
* Moving and handling
* Other relevant duties as required
* Housekeeping
* Cooking
* Transportation
* Companionship
* Looking after pets
* Dressing / undressing
* Bathroom assistance
Candidate qualities
* Respectful of the employer's privacy and confidentiality
* Reliable with good timekeeping
* Able to both follow instructions and work on own initiative
* Hygienic, tidy and well organised
* Fit and healthy to undertake the required duties
* Patient and possessing excellent interpersonal skills
* Honest and cheerful
* Creative
* Able to speak and read English to a reasonable standard
* Must be comfortable with pets
* Able to always work to high standards of health & safety
Additional requirements
* Non‑smoker due to medical reasons
* Must be a woman* (exemption for gender claimed under the Equality Act 2010 Part 1 Schedule 9)
Notes

The role may be offered on an employed or self‑employed basis, depending on the suitability and agreement with the employer.
