Haverhill Dental Practice are looking to welcome a new associate dentist into our busy practice, to play a full and active role within our multi-disciplinary team. The role is offered on a part or full-time basis working 3, 4 or 5 days per week. The post-holder will be part of the wider dental team, providing clinical support to with the assistance of our support team. They will provide a full range of dental care to the patients of the dental practice, from routine examinations to advanced specialist treatments. Duties will include; Examination, assessment and treatment of patients. Undertake the diagnosis, selection of appropriate periodontal techniques and delivery of periodontal care in an effective way. Undertake more advanced periodontal treatment procedures if trained to do so. Routine exodontia and/or simple surgical extractions. Undertake the diagnosis, selection of appropriate restorative technique and the delivery of restoration or replacement of teeth in an effective way. Identify commonly occurring emergencies and leads the dental team in the appropriate first line management of the emergency, using appropriate techniques, equipment, and drugs. You will be joining a multidisciplinary team of hygienists, therapists, dentists focussed on patient care. The practice has experience in training student hygienists, young dentists and foreign dentists.
