About the Role As a Workshop Controller, you’ll be responsible for overseeing the day- to- day operations of a busy workshop, ensuring all repairs are completed efficiently, on time, and to the highest standard. You’ll lead and support a team of skilled technicians, coordinate job flow, and act as a key link between the workshop, front- of- house staff, and the VDA team. Key Responsibilities Manage the daily workshop schedule and ensure timely completion of repairs Allocate work based on technician skills and workload capacity Perform quality control checks to maintain repair standards and compliance Liaise with service advisors to ensure accurate and timely customer updates Maintain health and safety standards across all workshop operations Collaborate with the Parts team to manage parts flow and inventory Mentor, support and develop workshop staff to promote continuous improvement Assist with damage assessments and repair planning alongside the VDA team About You You’ll have a solid background in the accident repair industry— possibly as an MET, Panel or Paint Technician, or VDA— and ideally some supervisory experience. You're confident under pressure, organised, and committed to delivering top- quality results.
