An exciting opportunity as we seek a skilled and dedicated HSE Advisor to contribute to the team in this busy factory. As a key member of our team, you will partner with the management team to foster a safety-first culture and drive our Zero Harm goal. Your proactive approach will help ensure the business is compliant with all health, safety, and environmental regulations, while continuously improving our safety performance. You will ensure compliance to local Health, Safety and Environmental legislation as well as company policies and requirements. HSE Performance KPI reporting, environmental monitoring and measurement. Leading HSE Steering meetings, Safety Committees. Assistance in the Claims management process. Review of HSE Risk Assessment, Policies and Procedures regularly. To provide support on HSE and continuous improvement Projects. Working with regulatory enforcement agencies / Insurance agencies / occupational health providers. Identify requirements and deliver for HSE Training. Deliver HSE training as necessary. leadership, production, engineering, logistics, purchasing to ensure completion of HSE improvement plans, deployment of HSE/SIF roadmaps and to ensure safe working environment.
Flexible - can work 4 day week or a 4.5 day week. Ideally you will have a NEBOSH General Certificate in Health & Safety or similar. (Knowledge of current Health, Safety and Environmental Legislation A good working knowledge of Risk assessments, COSHH, RIDDOR and Display Screen Equipment.
