The Role
In your new role as a Maintenance Engineer, you play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our production facilities. Working as part of a supportive and friendly team, you will help maintain a modern, fast paced food production environment, ensuring machinery operates safely, efficiently, and reliably.
You will be responsible for maintaining electrical, mechanical, and automated equipment, supporting continuity of production, and contributing to continual improvement across the site.
Key Responsibilities
* Maintain health, safety, and hygiene standards in line with company policies
* Install, repair, and maintain electrical and/or mechanical production equipment
* Diagnose electrical and mechanical faults
* Follow and complete preventative maintenance schedules
* Provide technical support across departments
* Ensure infrastructure is maintained to a high standard
* Implement solutions to improve machine reliability and product quality
* Use CMMS systems to help drive cost and performance improvements
* Comply with all food safety, quality, legal, and environmental requirements
Essential Criteria
* Time served Electrical & Mechanical Engineer
* Minimum 2 years' recent experience in a high volume industrial or engineering environment
* Highly motivated with the ability to work effectively in a demanding, fast paced setting
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
* Demonstrable experience in fault finding and working with control panels
* Strong problem solving skills
