About the Role:
We are seeking a proactive Account Handler to support the broking team with administrative and operational tasks.
This role involves managing day-to-day administrative duties such as scheduling, document preparation, and communication support to ensure smooth business operations.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide administrative support to the broking team and senior management.
* Manage calendars, schedule meetings, risk surveys, risk improvement visits, and coordinate travel arrangements, including flights, accommodations, and itineraries.
* Prepare and edit correspondence, reports, underwriting presentations, and other documents as needed.
* Handle incoming and outgoing client communications, including emails, phone calls, and mail.
* Organise and maintain departmental records, files, and databases.
* Assist in coordinating internal meetings and company events.
* Manage expense reports and process invoices for approval.
* Collaborate with other administrative staff to provide consistent support across the company.
* Undertake additional administrative tasks as needed to support business functions.
Qualifications & Skills:
* Minimum 2 years’ experience in an administrative role, preferably in insurance or financial services.
* Strong organisational and multitasking skills, with excellent attention to detail.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and other relevant software.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team, demonstrating flexibility and a proactive approach.
* High discretion when handling sensitive information.
* Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
The Package:
The base salary ranges from £30,000 to £40,000 depending on experience. Benefits include private medical cover, 25 days holiday (plus bank holidays), bonus, and life cover.
