Manufacturing Scheduler (Temp) Location: Lewes Salary: £34,000 per annum Contract: Temporary to Permanent (Full-time, Office-based) Key Responsibilities - Create, update, and maintain production schedules to meet customer delivery commitments. - Coordinate with internal teams including Sales, Production, and Purchasing to ensure materials and capacity align with demand. - Load forecasts and generate Works Orders within the company's ERP system. - Monitor progress, ensuring completed jobs are closed accurately and stock levels are maintained. - Maintain accurate Bills of Materials (BOMs) and planning parameters. - Produce reports on stock accuracy, inventory levels, and production performance. - Support new product introductions and manage engineering changes to ensure smooth transitions. - Assist with stock checks and other operational tasks as required. Skills & Experience - Previous experience in production planning or scheduling within a manufacturing environment. - Strong organisational and communication skills. - Confident using ERP/MRP systems (SAP ideally). - Excellent attention to detail and ability to work to deadlines. - Good general education (GCSEs or equivalent); a qualification in Supply Chain or Production Planning is an advantage.
