The Role:
Manage daily testing data reporting to meet customer deadlines by coordinating with laboratories to collect, compile, and input analytical data into technical reports efficiently.
* Write test reports and collaborate with testing teams to ensure timely delivery.
* Liaise with analytical chemists to gather test data.
* Verify data for suitability and apply measurement uncertainty and decision rules where applicable.
* Compare data against customer specifications for compliance.
* Coordinate with external laboratories to obtain necessary data to meet deadlines.
Additional responsibilities include reviewing customer test requests, identifying potential issues, escalating concerns, coordinating with report writers, and supporting team and business functions as needed.
What We Are Looking For:
* Degree in chemistry, biochemistry, or related fields, with experience in leather, textiles, chemical industry, or chemical testing laboratories.
* Strong organizational skills, meticulous attention to detail, and ability to meet deadlines.
* Effective verbal and written communication skills.
* Self-motivated with a positive attitude, capable of working under pressure.
* Commitment to high standards of precision and record-keeping to maintain ISO 17025 accreditation.
* Ability to multi-task, plan effectively, and adapt to changing priorities.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, especially Word and Excel; experience with data management systems like CRMs and LIMS is a plus.
* Flexibility to work additional hours when necessary.

This is an office-based role, Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours per week, core hours 8:45 am to 5:00 pm.
