The Global Operations Project Manager is responsible for owning the day‑to‑day execution and delivery of global operational and finance‑related initiatives. This role exists to separate strategy from execution, ensuring complex, detail‑heavy initiatives are delivered in a predictable, high‑quality way — while enabling senior leaders to focus on standardisation, value creation and decision‑making. The role supports large‑scale transformation programmes such as Project Unify, finance system integrations (e.g. Pronto, Workfront, AEM, reporting platforms), global process roll‑outs and cross‑country operational alignment. This role will work closely with our Technical Project Management who owns and drives the development phase with the tech team. This role operates as an extension of VP‑level leadership. The Global Operations Project Manager will need to work European hours and be open to travel. Responsibilities Global Project Delivery & Execution Ownership Own end‑to‑end delivery of global operational initiatives from planning through rollout Build and maintain project plans, timelines, milestones and dependencies. Own deployment planning and execution, coordinate cross-functional teams and capture requirements Drive execution across multiple workstreams (operations, finance, tech, vendors) Proactively manage RAID logs (Risks, Assumptions, Issues, Dependencies) Ensure delivery remains on track across multiple countries and time zones Proactively surface delivery risks, trade‑offs and mitigation options Provide structured status reporting to senior leadership Can potentially be assigned to take full ownership of specific topics or workstreams, leading them independently and acting as a single point of accountability for successful delivery Operational & Finance Initiative Support Project Unify and related operational tooling ecosystem Finance systems and reporting integrations Timesheet and data alignment initiatives Ensure operational readiness, adoption planning and rollout governance are in place Cross‑Functional Coordination Act as the central execution lead between Operations, Finance, Tech teams and external partners Run delivery meetings, working sessions and status updates Track actions and follow‑ups to ensure accountability and closure Translate strategic direction into clear, actionable execution plans Quality, Readiness & Delivery Control Ensure initiatives meet defined scope, quality and readiness criteria prior to rollout Coordinate testing, rollout sequencing and issue resolution Escalate delivery risks early with fact‑based options and recommendations Drive consistency across countries to reduce defects, rework and fragmented solutions Required Experience & Skills Experience At least 10 years’ experience owning end‑to‑end delivery of complex operational initiatives, including multi‑stakeholder coordination, dependencies and global roll‑outs Strong background in project management within operations, finance, or systems‑heavy environments Experience working with tool ecosystems and integrations rather than single standalone tools Comfortable operating in transformation environments with incomplete documentation and evolving scope Act as a trusted delivery partner, not just a task coordinator Marketing, advertising background preferred but not mandatory Skills & Capabilities Excellent planning, organisation and delivery discipline Strong stakeholder management across senior leadership, tech teams and vendors High attention to detail with the ability to manage complexity at scale Confident in driving accountability without formal authority Pragmatic, execution‑oriented mindset — a true “doer” Proactive, transparent communicator Calm under pressure with strong follow‑through Strong delivery discipline and execution rigour Confident operating with VP‑level stakeholders LI-CO1 Contract Type : Permanent Here at Havas across the group we pride ourselves on being committed to offering equal opportunities to all potential employees and have zero tolerance for discrimination.
