This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated individual to lead and inspire within a well-established setting. At the end of the maternity cover, there is the potential to extend the contract in a new capacity as Deputy Nursery Manager, offering continued involvement in the nursery’s leadership and operations on a fixed-term basis. To be considered for this role, you must hold a Level 3 Early Years qualification or above, and have 2 years previous experience leading a team within a Nursery environment. Take responsibility for maintaining high standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and safety across the nursery. Confidently lead inspections and maintain accurate records to ensure compliance with the EYFS framework and Ofsted standards. What You’ll Bring to the Role Proven experience in managing and inspiring teams within a childcare setting. Comprehensive knowledge of the EYFS framework and best practices in early years education. Inside, the nursery has six rooms which are equally split into areas to accommodate babies, toddlers and pre-school. All the rooms have plenty of space to explore and investigate, as well as to promote children’s curiosity and their drive to learn new things. We are located in a quiet residential area of Northfield, just off the A38 and a short distance from Northfield Train Station, providing easy access for anyone commuting into Birmingham.
