Recruitment Manager | Facilities Management Company
Location: Hertfordshire (Hybrid + National Travel)
Hours: Full-Time, Permanent
A leading UK-wide facilities management and property services company is seeking an experienced and proactive Recruitment Manager to lead national talent acquisition efforts across its operational sites.
About the Role
Based in Hertfordshire with hybrid working and national travel, you’ll lead end-to-end recruitment operations, working closely with HR, operational leaders, and senior stakeholders. You’ll drive recruitment innovation, support business growth, and help position the company as an employer of choice.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop and implement a forward-thinking recruitment strategy aligned with business needs
* Manage the full recruitment lifecycle across multiple UK locations and disciplines
* Partner with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and offer best-practice advice
* Drive candidate attraction through online platforms, agencies, local partnerships, and community outreach
* Strengthen employer branding to attract and retain top talent
* Monitor recruitment metrics (e.g. time-to-hire, cost-per-hire) and report regularly on performance
* Support Early Careers programs including apprenticeships and local employment schemes
* Ensure compliance with employment law, GDPR, and internal procedures
* Promote diversity and inclusion throughout all recruitment activities
* Coach managers on effective interviewing, selection, and onboarding
* Collaborate with the HR team on succession planning and talent retention initiatives
What We’re Looking For
* Proven experience in a recruitment or talent acquisition management role, ideally within construction, facilities or property services.
* Deep understanding of sourcing strategies, recruitment trends, and legal frameworks
* Ability to manage high-volume and varied recruitment needs
* Excellent stakeholder engagement and influencing skills
* Proficiency with applicant tracking systems and recruitment analytics
* Experience with apprenticeships or community hiring schemes is a plus
* Flexible, proactive, and willing to travel across the UK as needed
