Overview
We are looking for Simulation, Modelling and Control Engineers to join an advanced Aerospace, Marine and Defence Services organisation. The role involves working on technical projects and shaping future engineering work packages. Engineers will develop models at vehicle and systems level using mathematical and control algorithms.
Responsibilities
* Develop and run simulation analyses for equipment and system design activities.
* Validate and derive system and equipment requirements.
* Develop system control and monitoring algorithms.
* Perform root cause analysis.
* Write technical reports, including Model Description Documents and Analysis Reports.
* Represent the company to customers, contribute to technical proposals, and lead technical modelling packages up to technical signatory.
* Collaborate with technical leads and principle engineers to learn best practices and propose improvements.
Qualifications and Experience
* Degree qualified (or equivalent) in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Physics or Mathematics.
* Good understanding of fundamental modelling principles.
* Industrial engineering experience or knowledge of using modelling for development and analysis of complex systems.
* Experience with MATLAB, Simulink, Python and associated toolboxes.
* Experience using version control software (e.g., GIT) and task management tools.
* Strong confidentiality, flexible, can‑do attitude, professional, self‑motivated, solid team working ethos.

Security clearance required; UK nationals only.
Flexible Working
Hybrid working model available for part of the week.
