About the Role:

We’re looking for an experienced Java Developer to help us build secure, scalable systems using Java 17+, Spring Boot, modern build tools, and CI/CD practices. You’ll work in a flat, autonomous product team where clean code, ownership, and high engineering standards are a given.
What You’ll Be Doing:
* Designing and developing backend systems using modern Java and Spring Boot
* Contributing to architectural decisions, testing strategies, and continuous integration
* Owning features end-to-end: from design through to deployment and monitoring
* Working in a cross-functional team with frontend engineers, designers, and product leads
* Advocating for quality through clean architecture, TDD, and refactoring
* Participating in code reviews and engineering discussions
* Optionally contributing to our open-source tooling or engineering blog
Tech Stack You’ll Work With:
* Java 17+
* Spring Boot
* Gradle
* JUnit / Testcontainers
* REST APIs / Event-driven architecture
* React or other modern JS frameworks (desirable)
* GitHub Actions or other CI/CD tools
* Docker / Kubernetes (nice to have)
We’d Love to Hear From You If You:
* Have 3+ years’ experience in modern Java development
* Have worked in a product team (not just projects or consulting)
* Care deeply about writing clean, maintainable code
* Are comfortable taking ownership of a problem and delivering end-to-end
* Enjoy contributing to team culture and engineering excellence
* Have a passion for security, testing, or developer tooling (big plus)
