Orchard Medical Practice is seeking an experienced Data Quality professional who has worked in a General Practice setting. The role is pivotal in communicating QOF/LES/DES practice attainment, generating income, promoting safety and maintaining quality for the Practice.
Responsibilities
* Perform audits and summarise patient records to ensure accuracy of clinical read‑coding for QOF/LES/DES practice attainment.
* Maintain accuracy of monthly claims, ensuring proper income generation.
* Issue and monitor patient invitations for monthly recall of Chronic Disease Management, running relevant reports and searches through SystmOne and Ardens, and arranging appointments via AccuRx, text, telephone, email or postal invitations.
* Conduct regular QOF searches to identify patients missed from the Long‑Term Conditions register and arrange follow‑up appointments, ensuring correct clinical coding and monitoring.
* Scan and file letters, apply appropriate clinical coding for QOF purposes, and follow up actions, keeping clinicians and staff updated.
* Report to GPs, clinicians and practice manager on QOF position, patient attendance and correct clinical coding, ensuring transparency and accuracy in monitoring claims and income.
* Participate in the development of new services as contracts or services change.
