Role: Technical Trainer
Location: Leicester, East Midlands
Salary: £45-50k plus vehicle, profit shares and benefits
Multitask Personnel are working with a leading and awarding winning Energy company who are growing within the renewables sector at a rapid rate, to facilitate this growth they are seeking a Electrical Trainer to upskill Electricians within EV, Solar and Heatpumps. You will spend a large amount of time delivering training at the Training centre in Leicester and in addition some working from home and remote working to carry out assessments, this is a permanent role offering a competitive salary of up to £50,000 dependant on experience.
As a Technical Trainer you will be responsible for developing and upskilling the current workforce and future recruits. You will be responsible for producing course content and training material to support the required course. This is an exciting new opportunity where they will want you to help promote our client by delivering quality instruction for EVCP, ASHP and Solar at their training centres.
Your job purpose is to carry out training and assessment for learners to include the following tasks:
· Skills development within a workshop environment.
· Support learners to achieve and maintain their qualifications.
· Provide feedback on progress.
· Guide and coach, the learners.
· Assessment of competence to national standards.
· Maintenance of workshop equipment.
Essential/Desirable Requirements:
· Qualified Electrician to level 3 (essential)
· A minimum of 5 years of practical experience (essential)
· NVQ Level 3 or equivalent (desirable)
· Driving Licence and use of a car (essential)
· 18th Edition (7671:2018) qualification (essential)
· C&G 2391/2 (essential)
· Involvement in Government training schemes and National Vocational Qualifications (desirable)
· An assessor qualification such as D32 and D33, A1 or TAQA (desirable)
· A recognised teaching qualification such as a PTLLS, CTLLS, DTLLS, PGCE, or Cert
· A DBS disclosure will be required.
· EVCP experience (desirable)
· ASHP experience (Essential)
