Job Summary
The Duty Manager plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of the hotel, providing exceptional guest services while overseeing daily activities. This position requires strong leadership skills and the ability to manage a diverse team effectively. The Duty Manager will be responsible for maintaining high standards of hospitality, ensuring guest satisfaction, and addressing any issues that may arise during their shift.
Duties
* Supervise daily operations to ensure a seamless guest experience.
* Manage staff schedules and delegate tasks to ensure efficient workflow.
* Address guest inquiries and resolve complaints promptly and professionally.
* Conduct regular inspections of the hotel premises to maintain cleanliness and safety standards.
* Collaborate with various departments, including housekeeping and maintenance, to ensure all guest needs are met.
* Assist in training new staff members on company policies and procedures.
* Maintain accurate records of incidents, complaints, and staff performance for reporting purposes.
* Uphold the hotel's brand standards through exemplary service delivery.
Skills
* Multilingual or bilingual abilities are highly desirable for effective communication with guests from diverse backgrounds.
* Proven supervising experience within a hospitality environment is essential.
* Previous hotel experience is preferred, demonstrating an understanding of hotel operations and guest services.
