Residential Support Worker Children & Young People (Short Breaks) £17.36 per hour (Umbrella) | Full-Time 37 hours per week | Shifts include Days, Nights & Weekends Location: Northampton Area Are you an experienced and passionate Residential Support Worker ready to make a difference in the lives of children and young people with complex needs? We are currently recruiting three support workers to join a specialist short breaks service in Northampton, providing respite care for children aged 5 to 18 years. This is a rewarding opportunity to join a structured, nurturing, and purpose-built residential setting offering short-term overnight care in a safe and stimulating environment. About the Service This Ofsted-registered short breaks home provides overnight care for children and young people with: Severe learning disabilities Complex behaviours associated with their disability Dual diagnoses such as Autism and ADHD Mild physical disabilities combined with additional learning or behavioural needs The setting supports up to six children at a time, with tailored care plans, structured routines, and fully accessible facilities designed to promote both independence and emotional well-being.
