Salary Scale: £50,786 - £67,422 per annum
What is the purpose of this job?
As a People Project Lead, you will work with the senior people team to shape and implement a range of people initiatives, to support delivery of our people strategy. You will also support the Senior People Partners and People Operations team as required.
Trust will be given to allow you to work collaboratively with the team and others across the business, but with autonomy and flexibility to suit you – great outputs are what matter most in this role.
What can I expect to do in this job?
This isn’t an exhaustive list, but things you can expect to be involved with include:
· In conjunction with the senior people team and key stakeholders, leading on the planning, development and implementation of a range of people initiatives, in line with our people strategy, including but not limited to:
· The development of the RDG culture code, that explains how we do things at RDG and what we expect from our people in return. Enabling us to embed a culture based on trust and empowerment.
· Continuation of our manager upskilling programme; finalising the roadmap and together with the People Partners, designing and delivering the content to be rolled out over the coming period.
· Reviewing our approach to continuous learning and growth through the development of a Learning Hub, and the promotion of tools and resources available to support development and progression more generally
· Identify and mitigate project risks, ensuring the smooth and successful implementation of all people initiatives.
· Ensure effective engagement and communication with all relevant stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
· Work in partnership with People Partners and Operations team to ensure projects are successfully transitioned into ‘business as usual’ once completed.
· Supporting the Senior People Partners on an ad hoc basis and as identified by the Senior People Team Manager.

Requirements
What experience, skills and knowledge do I need?
You will be CIPD qualified or equivalent experience and have a strong generalist HR background at an HR Business Partner level. You may have worked in a standalone role or as part of a team but will have the ability to be hands on when required. More specifically you will be:
· Personable with excellent communication skills, able to connect with the team and understand their challenges.
· Able to think strategically and confident and comfortable to communicate their ideas.
· Experienced in designing and implementing effective people initiatives and services.
· Experienced and confident in delivering training modules to managers and employees.
· Have strong business acumen, with a proven record of partnering with and influencing all levels of leadership across the organisation to design and implement effective HR programs and service.
· Confident in UK employment law, experience of Hay job evaluation or similar methodology would be preferable.
· Passionate about continuous improvement and creating an engaging employee experience.
· Able to measure and track HR effectiveness through the use of key metrics and measures.
The role will have not have any direct line management responsibility nor budget responsibility.
