Smart Education is proud to be recruiting a dedicated and nurturing Primary Teacher for a caring and progressive alternative provision based in Middlesbrough. This rewarding role involves working with pupils aged 5-11 who experience a range of additional needs including Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) difficulties, Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC), Moderate Learning Difficulties (MLD), and Behavioural, Emotional and Social Difficulties (BESD).

Responsibilities
* Teaching across the primary curriculum, adapting lessons to individual needs
* Fostering a positive, inclusive, and supportive learning environment
* Planning engaging, differentiated activities to inspire curiosity and achievement
* Working closely with SENCOs, Teaching Assistants, and wider staff to support each learner holistically
* Promoting emotional regulation and positive behaviour strategies
Qualifications
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
* Experience working with children with additional needs, preferably in SEN, PRU, or alternative provision settings
* A creative, patient, and flexible teaching approach
* Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
* An Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply)
* A passion for inclusive education and empowering every child
