Engagement Manager – Commercial Due Diligence | Healthcare & Life Sciences
Were working with a leading specialist strategy and due diligence consultancy focused exclusively on healthcare, life sciences, pharmaceuticals, medtech, and healthcare services.
Due to continued growth and a strong pipeline of transaction activity, the firm is looking to appoint an Engagement Manager to lead commercial due diligence projects for private equity investors, venture capital funds, lenders, and corporate clients.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced consultant looking to take on greater responsibility, manage client relationships, and lead project teams within a highly respected healthcare-focused advisory business.
The role:
• Leading commercial due diligence engagements from project kick-off through to final recommendations
• Managing day-to-day client interactions and acting as a trusted advisor throughout the transaction process
• Overseeing market assessments, competitor analysis, customer research, and growth opportunity evaluations
• Synthesising complex data into clear investment recommendations and executive-level presentations
• Managing and developing consultants and analysts
• Supporting business development initiatives and contributing to proposal development
Ideal background:
• 4–8 years experience within strategy consulting, commercial due diligence, healthcare consulting, or a related advisory environment
• Experience leading workstreams or managing projects within transaction-focused engagements
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
• Excellent client management and stakeholder engagement skills
• Healthcare, life sciences, pharma, medtech, or healthcare services experience is highly desirable
• Advanced degree (MBA, PhD, MSc, MD, or equivalent) advantageous but not essential
