As our IT Infrastructure Analyst, you will be responsible for designing, maintaining, and supporting the core infrastructure of the company, ensuring reliable performance, security, and scalability. You will work closely with other IT teams (internal and external) to deliver infrastructure solutions that align with business needs and contribute to the continuous improvement of IT services. Responsibilities as our IT Infrastructure Analyst are to: Infrastructure Management: Oversee servers, storage, networks and cloud platforms System Administration: Maintain and update systems, hardware, and applications (e.g., M365, Zendesk) Network Support: Configure and troubleshoot LAN/WAN, firewalls, routers, and VPNs for performance and security Cloud Services: Manage and support cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), ensuring seamless integration Security & Compliance: Implement firewalls, antivirus, encryption, and disaster recovery; ensure regulatory compliance Performance Monitoring: Track and optimise system and network performance; address issues proactively Capacity Planning: Support forecasting and scaling of infrastructure to meet growth needs Incident Management: Resolve infrastructure issues promptly, coordinating with relevant teams Documentation: Maintain up-to-date records of setups, processes, and changes; generate performance reports Vendor Management: Coordinate with vendors on procurement, installation, and maintenance Project Support: Contribute to IT and business infrastructure projects, ensuring timely and scoped delivery Essential Skills required of our IT Infrastructure Analyst: Background in Computer Science, IT, or similar technical disciplines Infrastructure, system admin and network support experience Proficient in Windows, Linux, Unix and virtualisation (VMware, Hyper-V) Hands-on with AWS, Azure and Google Cloud Strong understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPNs, and networking protocols Familiar with firewalls, intrusion detection, and encryption tools Skilled in backup and disaster recovery planning Effective at managing multiple priorities in fast-paced settings Strong analytical and troubleshooting abilities Excellent communicator and team collaborator Desirable Skills Industry certifications (e.g., CompTIA Network, AWS Certified Solutions Architect, CCNA, ITIL). Experience with automation tools and scripting (e.g., PowerShell, Python). Familiarity with ITIL practices and service management.
