We have an exciting role on offer within our Transport and Infrastructure team as a Project Officer.
About the role
Within the Council’s Transport and Infrastructure portfolio, this post is responsible for the development and delivery of Capital Infrastructure schemes within the Transport Capital Programme; specifically, those within the Tees Valley Combined Authority City Region Sustainable Transport Settlement programme.
Responsibilities
* Develop and deliver Capital Infrastructure schemes within the Transport Capital Programme, specifically those within the Tees Valley Combined Authority City Region Sustainable Transport Settlement programme.
* Support highway infrastructure improvements to ensure the Council’s statutory duty to ensure the safe and expeditious movement of people and goods on its network and ensure that the asset is fit for purpose in the face of increasing demand.
Qualifications
Good standard of education including GCSE in Maths, English and ICT or evidence of equivalent level of academic attainment.
Contract
This is a fixed term post until 31.03.2027.
